Our principals (Tracy R. Hall and Lisa Sirlin) have a combined 40+ years of experience providing overall team management and leadership to multi-disciplinary engagement teams, working closely with our clients to understand their business objectives and ensure their success.
CEO/CTO: Tracy R. Hall (the logic)
Over the past two decades, Tracy Richmond Hall has combined training in left-brain logic and engineering practices with an inherent ability to create both beautiful and functional designs. Tracy has executed this whole-brain skill on consumer products (toys and electronics) through technology leadership, innovative product development and management, toy line ideation and strong financial (P&L) planning.
His solid business acumen combined with a science and engineering discipline has proven repeatedly successful for employers and clients in both consumer electronics and consumer product companies. A multi-disciplined mentor to the Dreams and Logic FlexTeams, Tracy marries disparate technologies toward successful product.
Tracy's specialties include: Concept, game play and feature development; electronic products engineering; on- and off-shore manufacturing; operations and financial management; team leadership and mentoring.
Tracy was born in Orange County, California, lived in Belgium, Boston and the Bay Area of California and studied Electrical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, receiving a Bachelors of Science Degree. Former employers and clients who have worked with Tracy include: Mattel, Parker Brothers, Kenner, Jakks, Casio, US Robotics, MediaVision, 8x8, MGA Entertainment, and Atari.
Executive Producer: Lisa Sirlin (the dreams)
Lisa Sirlin brings almost twenty years of online entertainment development expertise to the Dreams and Logic team. She offers clients a special emphasis on consumer and young audience web entertainment, branded sites, virtual worlds, gaming portals, communities and MMO's. Lisa's expertise in what makes children's interactive properties engaging to kids while not ticking off their parents adds a unique focus to Dreams and Logic's development strategy and tactical methodology.
Her areas of unique and deep knowledge are: Content development (story arc, activity engagement, creative/aesthetic product definition, character development); audience targeting; customer acquisition/retention; virtual economies and product monetization; compliance for children's online registration and marketing/advertising; (COPPA and CARU guidelines.) team leadership and meeting/workshop lead facilitation.
A graduate of Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, Lisa formerly served as interactive executive and expert consultant for such entertainment companies, youth-centric interactive agencies and children's product manufacturers and content publishers as: MGA Entertainment, Suppertime Entertainment, Turner Pictures, Electronic Arts, Nestle, Hanna-Barbera, Leapfrog, Brøderbünd, Fox Kids Network and Cartoon Network.
The Team
Throughout the four phases of a typical Dreams and Logic project, the team will consist of our two Principals working with the client, and guiding a talented multi-disciplinary FlexTeam of experts in the kid, technology, gaming and virtual entertainment industries.
